Description:
PZBsept is an alcoholic antiseptic solution, based on isopropanol and benzalkonium chloride, combining the rapid disinfecting effect of isopropyl alcohol with the residual properties of benzalkonium chloride. This type of solution has a good skin tolerance. PBZsept in a 250ml spray bottle is practical and easy to use and acts quickly and extensively.
Applications:
Hand disinfection; Disinfection of healthy skin before invasive procedures, such as injections, punctures, blood sampling, in primary health care, home care and dialysis. All uses of this type of solutions.
Action spectrum:
It has antimicrobial properties against a wide spectrum of microorganisms: E.coli, Coliforms, Listeria, Staphylococcus aureaus, Enterococcus faecalis, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans, MRSA, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus pyogenis, Proteus mirabilis, Presuntive clostridium perfringers, Presumptive enterobacteriacae, salmonella, fungi, encapsulated viruses (including HCV, HIV, HBV) and non-encapsulated (Rotavirus), among others, associating the properties of 70% isopropyl alcohol with those of benzalkonium chloride.
Usage mode:
Hand disinfection: Apply a portion of the solution to the palm of the hand and gently spread over the entire surface of the hands, including the space between the fingers, in order to completely wet the area to be disinfected. Leave to dry and act for 1 to 3 minutes, without rinsing. Skin disinfection for invasive procedures: spray the area to be disinfected until it is completely moistened. Leave to act for 30 s to 1 minute without rinsing. If the application area is rich in sebaceous glands, leave it on for about 2 minutes.
