It maintains the cytomorphological characteristics and cellular elements that are essential for diagnosis.
With alcohol with high diffusion speed and fixation capacity.
With propane1,2-diol to form a thin protective film on the preparation in order to avoid its dehydration in addition to protecting the cellular elements of the smear.
